January 8, 2013

the christmas letter never sent...

a little late, but here is an update of the georgia ballards:

rhet, rhety boy, rhet-a-rooni, stinky head, you pick it, annie's got a nick name for him--although we try to stray away from stinky head. this cute, peaceful, happy boy joined our family last april and has brought us nothing but smiles and laughs since. he has two little bottom teeth, sleeps through the night, loves his mama and his blanket, and will laugh at anything annie does--including throwing a tantrum.

annie mae is a smart, tenacious little girl who never lets a moment go by without letting you know her take on the matter. she knows what she wants and thinks she's supposed to get it. annie loves pretend play, negotiating, bubble gum, and dressing up. on any given day she can be heard saying "let's wrestle!", "i need my privacy", "wanna go to the museum?", "no, no, no, i can do it by myself", "let's face time" and "one more hug."

lyndi filled her cup to the brim by having a baby, running a half-marathon, starting a dinner club, wiping bums, and accepting a calling as Young Women's President. She's tired so this is all she's writing.

kevin started his second year as an orthopedic pa and found himself even busier than before. if you have a broken hip, shoulder, or knee...don't call kevin, i'd like him home. aside from mending bones, kev has been busy as the Priest advisor (teaching the 16-18 year old boys in our church), and being everyone's favorite person walking through the door at 7:00.

hope your 2012 was great and your 2013 will be even better!
